What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm for all modalities, and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 2pm for X-Ray, CT, OPG and BMD.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Appointments are recommended for all modalities, but essential for Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional procedures. Walk-ins are welcome for X-ray, CT, OPG and BMD.
When will my doctor have my results?
This can depend on the urgency of your examination, and when you are next seeing your doctor. Most results will be back to your doctor the same day, or within 48 hours for routine scans.
Can I access the images and reports from my examination?
Following your examination, your films and report will be automatically, electronically transferred to your doctor once completed, there is nothing to wait for or pick up. Your images will be available for you to view on the Patient Portal app, once the report is completed. The report will be available on the app 14 days after completion, to allow you time to discuss the results with your doctor first. Reports are unfortunately not able to be emailed or faxed to your personal account. Please ask reception for more information.
Where are you located?
We are located within the Morayfield Health Hub, 19-31 Dickson Road, Morayfield. For Google maps directions, please use the Get Directions link under Services on this website.
Do I have to pay for my examination?
Imaging Morayfield endeavour to bulk-bill every examination where possible, and charge no gaps on top of the Medicare schedule fee. Some examinations may incur a fee where Medicare bulk-billable criteria cannot be met, which will be discussed with your prior to your examination. Any out-of-pocket expenses are kept as low and affordable as possible.
I have a referral from a different radiology provider. Can I use it at Imaging Morayfield?
We accept doctor’s referral forms from ANY radiology and imaging provider.
Do we offer MRI services?
Not at this current time, but we will soon!
